Professional Sales Student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette

THE FUTURE STARTS TODAY, NOT TOMORROW
-Pope John Paul II

WELL HELLO THERE,
Thanks for stopping by. I will do my best to keep my story within 400 words- as they say, best is short, sweet and to the point.
I am a Senior at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in Marketing with a minor in Professional Sales. I am currently seeking an internship for the Spring 2020 semester that could ideally lead to a full-time position post-graduation.
During my three and a half years in college, I have done all I can to separate myself from the thousands of business students that U.L. has. So first, what do I bring to the table? Experience-wise I was a top three sales intern at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in my area, I’ve worked as a server in customer service at high end restaurants, and even owned my own painting business grossing roughly $15000 in revenue. Concerning teamwork, I helped run an Enterprise branch that grosses roughly one million dollars in revenue a year alongside three other employees, and have competed internationally through the U.L. Sales Team, and that does require a lot of teamwork. But let’s talk about GRIT.
I’ve paid for college by working 25+ hours a week, while going to school full-time, am involved in numerous organizations and still have a 3.73 GPA. I’ve put in the time and focused all my energy on sales specifically to help you, who are reading this right now. That’s what you get when you hire somebody from the U.L. Sales Program. We invest a lot to hone this specific skill and are 100% in it for the long haul.
I do believe in the saying that “all work and no play made Jack a dull boy” (poor ol’ Jack), so in my free time I am a fitness guru- my home away from home is the gym. I play a lil' guitar, watch a lot of football, hunt and fish 'till the cows come home and cook what I harvest. But last, and most importantly, I love to spend time with my fiancé, and all of my family and friends. Home is where the heart is, and my heart will always be a Louisiana one.
Would you look at that? I kept it within 400 words, just like I said. Right on the dot as a matter of fact (yes I definitely word-counted this and adjusted, don't judge). That's a wrap.
